The Bassetlaw Branch of Parkinson’s UK extends warm wishes for a happy and healthy New Year to all readers.
The first meeting of 2025 will take place on Tuesday 7th January at 2.00pm at Worksop Cricket Club, Central Avenue. This meeting is an ideal opportunity for new members to join and experience the group’s friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The afternoon will feature a fun auction followed by a lively demonstration of seated Pilates, a regular activity enjoyed by members each week.
The branch has planned a full and exciting programme of events for the year ahead, including outings, lunches, and much more. Regular activities such as indoor bowling, singing, and Pilates will continue, with additional initiatives currently being developed.
The Bassetlaw Branch aims to show that there is much to enjoy despite the challenges Parkinson’s can present. Friendship and support are extended to all patients, their families, and friends.
