Last month’s speaker at Worksop and District u3a was Ruth Massey, a member of the Southwell Minster staff. Her talk focused on the life and work of Southwell Minster, a historic Nottinghamshire building with a history spanning over 1,000 years. Ruth provided valuable insights into the significance of this remarkable structure.
The next meeting will take place at Carlton Civic Centre on Thursday 21st November. There will be a brief Annual General Meeting, after which the speaker will be Sam Millard, who will discuss The Rufford Park Poachers.
The meeting starts at 1.45pm, with tea and coffee available, followed by the talk at 2.15pm.
