Services are held every Sunday at Whiston Methodist Church at 10.30am and, on the first Sunday in each month, there is a service at 6.00pm. Sunday 6th October is Harvest Festival and donations of tins and packets will be donated to the Rotherham Food Bank and Safe Haven. Refreshments are served after each service.
The Chapel Crafters group meet every Tuesday from 12.00pm to 2.00pm. Take your lunch and craft and drinks will be provided.
A weekly Community Coffee morning is held on Thursdays from 10.00am to 11.30am. Why not go along and meet new friends? Friends from Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice will visit the coffee morning on 31st October with Christmas Cards and gifts for sale in support of the charity. On Saturday 12th October there will be a pie and pea lunch in aid of the rood fund. The cost will be £10.00, which will include a raffle ticket and a quiz.
