Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) is an independent charity delivering life-saving rapid response care to five million people across four million acres of Yorkshire every single day. Below are just a few ways you can help YAA continue their lifesaving missions this year.
Play the YAA lottery
One of the easiest ways to support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance is by playing their lottery. Not only will you be helping save lives across our region, but you could also be in with the chance of winning over £600! Just match your three numbers to the weekly Saturday Lotto draw to be in with a chance of winning.
Set up a regular donation
Regular donations are the lifeblood of the charity. A constant income stream enables YAA to plan for the future, helping to keep both of their helicopters flying across Yorkshire. YAA can claim Gift Aid on these personal donations, meaning your donation is worth 25% more too. You can do all this through the YAA website.
Donate in lieu of an occasion
Give the gift that keeps on giving by considering donating in lieu of someone’s birthday, wedding or special occasion. In return for your donation, you can also pop a celebratory message on the message board on the website!
Shop using Amazon Smile or choose YAA as your preferred eBay charity
Amazon Smile and eBay both have affiliate schemes which donate back to your preferred charity a percentage of the money you spend. To do this, simply register with Amazon Smile or on eBay select Yorkshire Air Ambulance as your favourite charity at the checkout.
Register as a volunteer
Pledge as little or as much time as you can offer and help YAA save lives by volunteering. YAA volunteers are imperative to the charity and they help deliver talks, empty collection buckets and travel to lots of events, spreading the word about YAA across the region.
