How better to start the New Year than with champagne? On Wednesday 5th January at 7.30pm, Les Francophiles de Tickhill welcome Nigel Bemrose to give a talk on Champagne – both the district and the drink. Refreshments will be served afterwards, with the chance to socialise and the opportunity to converse in French.
A subscription to the society is only £20.00 a year for all 10 meetings with interesting speakers and demonstrations. Two of the meetings include food to share with wine supplied. Where else could you get all this for just £2.00 a session? The society meets in the Parish Room, Tickhill (DN11 9HZ) on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm; you will be made very welcome.
