Fancy a cycling adventure? Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice is asking families to get on their bikes this September and pedal their way from Rother Valley Country Park to Poolsbrook Country Park and back.
Pedal 2 Poolsbrook will see up to 200 people cycling away on Sunday 3rd September in support of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice — the North Anston-based charity that cares for families facing the toughest of times.
Open to children and adults, the 35-kilometre event will start at Rother Valley and then join the Trans Pennine Trail to the Staveley park. After cycling around Poolsbrook lake, the route returns to Rother Valley Country Park.
The fun won’t stop once people get off their bikes because a celebration is planned at the end, with a free barbecue and medals for all entrants and children presented with certificates.
People can enter the event at www.bluebellwood.org. Places cost £15 per adult and £6 per child. For news and updates on Pedal 2 Poolsbrook, please search for ‘Pedal 2 Poolsbrook’ on Facebook.
It costs more than £4m to run Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, providing support both at the hospice and in the community. To make a donation or find ideas for helping Bluebell Wood make more memories for the 250 children it cares for, please visit www.bluebellwood.org.
