Hoping for HOPE

by | 18 August 2017 | Community Event, Local Charity, Worksop

Families, friends and individuals are all invited to the Three Legged Stool, Worksop on Sunday 27th August, for a fun-filled day for everyone.

The horrific fire at Grenfell Tower, London brings home the stark reminder that many of us we are one tragedy away from homelessness as not everyone is fortunate enough to have family and friends that can support us in times of need. I think that most of us would agree that having a roof over your head is a fundamental and basic human need.

On 27th August, our community will be coming together at the Three Legged Stool in Worksop to raise funds for our local homeless charity, HOPE Community Services. The charity aims to promote social inclusion, tackle disadvantage, homelessness and its causes, and ensure pathways for positive lifestyle choices for those who are outside of mainstream services.

The day will include live music, food and drink

Huge thanks to the Three Legged Stool, family and friends and all the artists, who are generously donating their space and time to support this event. Anyone interested in performing, delivering a fun activity or holding a stall on the day should contact Debbie at the Three Legged Stool on 01909 477528.

Please take the time to let people know about this event and come along on the day with your family and friends helping to raise money for an incredibly worthwhile local charity.
