Langold Village Hall is the place to be on Saturday 17th June when a ‘Country and Cupcakes’ fundraising event takes place. The event will run from 2.00pm to 4.00pm and is in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia touch so many people and most of us know someone who is affected by this dreadful condition. The Alzheimer’s Society would like people up and down the country to bake, take and buy cupcakes to raise funds for much needed help and research.
Organisers of this event thought it would be a good idea to combine cupcakes with a country themed afternoon. So friends and entertainers have come together to sing, dance and generally provide a fun afternoon to raise some of that much needed cash. So mosey on down to the Langold Village Hall on Saturday 17th June for cupcakes, tea, coffee, country music, a Makaton signing choir, line dancing, crafts, games and a raffle. See you all there. Ye-Ha.
