The Old Library and Museum: re-opening soon!

by | 8 October 2021 | Local Charity, Worksop

The Old Library and Museum has been closed for refurbishment for over a year and what a year it has been! The finish line is in sight, and they look forward to welcoming you back into the newly renovated Aurora Centre soon.
What can you expect?
Valerie’s Tea Room has a bright new home overlooking the park. The Heritage Hub under the restored central dome will reveal Worksop’s history and hopefully will make you will feel right at home there. The charity’s new Therapy Services area is light, welcoming, and calm.
There will be areas of the building still left to refurbish when they return, but they hope when new funding allows these areas will be sorted.
