A busy month at The Crossing Church

July is a remarkably busy music month at The Crossing Church and Centre, Newcastle Street, Worksop with three concerts scheduled:

  • Saturday 1st July, 7.30pm
    The touring organs and vocals of Chiho Sunamoto and Jon Smith (‘East Meets West 2’) offer a mouth-watering selection of music from light to classical. Tickets cost £10, under 16s £4 and they are available from The Crossing, email info@musicatthecrossing.co.uk or call 01909 475421.
  • Saturday 8th July, 7.30pm
    Local choir Ryton Chorale (under musical director David Wynne) present ‘Music for a Summer Evening’, comprising favourite operatic choruses and selected prize-winning performances from the 2017 Worksop Music Festival.   • Saturday 15th July, 7.30pm
    The ‘Music at The Crossing’ summer term finishes with the visit of the excellent small singing group ‘Anything Goes’ performing ‘Choral Classics — a Journey through Time’. Adding further spice to the evening and in complete contrast, talented young musicians of Wales High School sing and play a selection of music from films and shows.
