Look out for the NOW Church market stall on Saturday 6th October on Bridge Street, Worksop. Join them for free face painting, glitter nails and balloon art with Macca’s Balloons. There promises to be lots of crazy fun and you can meet their kids’ mascot Barney bear too!
In addition, the church will be operating a free car wash as a thank you and will be calling in on all the emergency services agencies with tasty gifts to thank them for all they do for our community.
They are celebrating the fact it’s exactly one year since NOW Church moved to Worksop. Their base was in Langold for many years but they felt that they wanted to be central to the community they serve and so they now take over Sparken Hill Academy every Sunday morning at 10.30am for their Main Event service. They believe this state of the art, modern building reflects the church’s contemporary style of worship.
The church would love it if you would stop by their stall on the 6th and/or join their regular services on a Sunday. Macca’s Balloons will be at the church on 7th October as well. The church is also supporting the Chatty Café Scheme at the Worksop branch of Costa Coffee.
