At Outside the Cave in Edwinstowe this December, there are a great range of classes, workshops and activities taking place for the whole family. The ‘Young Yogis’ can enjoy kids’ yoga and mindfulness activities with enjoyable Christmas-themed stories and activities. Adult yoga classes continue including gentle yoga for those with more limited mobility and seated yoga if you are even less mobile. The adult mindfulness courses continue helping people truly enjoy and appreciate this wonderful time of year (without the stress and anxiety that can come along with it).
Why not book in for one of Outside the Cave’s festive workshops? There is Christmas wreath making, posy and table decoration workshops and lots of opportunities to visit the project and create gifts for your loved ones, handmade by you. Planted gift baskets are especially popular at this time of year, as they add some of the colours of nature to your home when it can be a little gloomy outdoors.
The project’s on-site acupuncture practitioner, Amanda from Purple Lotus Acupuncture, is offering consultations and treatments as well as Indian head massage and hopi ear candles to help you feel your best this month. Or if you feel like treating yourself to a holistic massage, facial, manicures or pedicures contact Emma from Pure Pampered for more details. Tracey and Sara are also very excited to have Jo on board at the treatment room offering reflexology consultations and treatments.
A fantastic range of products are on sale at the barn from a range of local craftspeople and wellbeing practitioners — there are some beautiful, original and completely natural things, that are well worth a look.
So please visit the Facebook page @outsdethecave for regular updates or feel free to call in for a timetable of events this December. You can also call 01623 822428 for more information. A friendly welcome is always guaranteed.
