North Notts Association of National Trust Members

by | 10 November 2022 | Heritage, Sherwood, Social Group

The last of North Notts Association of National Trust Members’ outings this season was in September, when 42 members visited the Ropewalk in Barton in Humber.

The 2022-23 programme began in October with a presentation by Maureen Taylor entitled ‘Elizabethan Life – a visitor from the 16th century’. Winter lectures take place at the Crossing, Worksop at 7.00pm for 7.30pm. The November talk is by David Skillen.

Members who have rejoined should all have received their new programme of future events, and everyone will find something of interest. Membership is £30.00 single or £55.00 joint, and covers seven talks from October to April. The summer outings are all paid for separately as and when they take place.

Forthcoming talks

Wednesday 16th November: The Gretna Girls and the Devil’s Porridge
Wednesday 14th December: Beyond the Blue Horizon – Mike Ogden
