Learn to play a brass or percussion instrument with the Sherwood Forest Brass Band. Summer holidays complete, the band is starting up a learners’ group for the new term. There are currently seven in the Beginners group, children and their parents, from the age of seven.There are instruments available for every age and ability; instrument hire is free.If you don’t read music, someone can teach you! Tuition is free, from a qualified musician.The group currently rehearses on Mondays from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Clipstone Social Club, Clipstone NG21 9AL. There is no membership subscription.The band is now rehearsing new pieces ready for their next concert. If you play an instrument,go and enjoy live music making.
