Final Wednesday Speaker Evenings

by | 18 July 2017 | Rotary, Sherwood

Commencing with the final Wednesday in July there will be a programme of 12 monthly entertaining and/or informative talks held at South Forest Leisure Centre, Edwinstowe, at 7.00pm for a 7.15pm start.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Sherwood Forest, each evening will begin with a sociable two course meal followed by coffee, or tea, prior to the speaker giving their presentation for 30 to 60 minutes. Evenings will conclude with a few questions for the speaker and the whole event is over in about two hours.

The first speaker has called their talk ‘Friends Against Scams’ and this is a talk to help us avoid scams and fraud. It takes place on Wednesday 26th July and the cost is £11, including meal and speaker. To book a place for the July talk (for number of meals) please call South Forest on 01623 823866 saying you wish to book into the Rotary meal on 26th July.

If you would prefer to attend just for the talk then there is no need to book and the charge will be £3 on the door at 8.00pm.
