The first rehearsal of Community Voices this term will be at 6.00pm on Tuesday 3rd October in the Dukeries Academy Concert Hall. Members will be working towards the Sherwood Rotary Proms, which is to be held in the hall on Saturday 18th November at 7.00pm.

There are many people in the community, both men and women, who would like the opportunity to sing and this group of singers meet for the enjoyment of singing together. There is no audition and you don’t have to read music.
For this concert, the group will be looking at songs by Marvin Hamlisch, Billy Joel, The Beatles, The Drifters, Amy Winehouse plus some more traditional music. Members will also be planning a concert dedicated to the musicals for early next year.

If you would like to take part and enjoy singing in a group simply turn up for the first rehearsal.
