Volunteer with Citizens Advice

by | 1 June 2017 | Citizens Advice, Community Focus, Rotherham

Citizens Advice Rotherham and District is inviting local people to join them as volunteers, promising that volunteering for them is challenging, rewarding and varied.

Citizens Advice is a volunteer led service, which last year helped over 8,000 local people, managed debts of over £5 million and gained benefits of over £1.5 million. There are a variety of volunteer roles, including telephone and face to face advisers and assessors, campaigners, administrators, receptionists and more. You’ll receive training and support throughout. Some roles have minimum time requirements but even if you only have a day to spare each week, Citizens Advice want to hear from you.

They help thousands of people in Rotherham and District every year, providing free, confidential, impartial and independent advice on a wide range of issues. They also influence government and organisations to bring about change in policies and laws that affect people’s lives.
