Poppies created by local community groups and school children, will be on display with archive items and objects exploring how we remember those who have given their lives in times of conflict at Clifton Park Museum. It has been curated to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the unveiling of the Cenotaph in Clifton Park.
Archive staff will be on hand to talk about the display and there will also be a documentary film including archive footage of men from the York and Lancaster Regiment created by Yorkshire Film Archive for the Filmed and Not Forgotten Project screened throughout the day on Remembrance Sunday, 13th November.
The display will be available to view in the Archive and Local Studies Search Room from Wednesday 2nd November until the end of January 2023.
