Hedgehog rescue

by | 8 November 2019 | Local Charity, Rotherham, Wildlife

A new charity has been set up to rescue South Yorkshire hedgehogs that are in need. Local resident Pauline Davis is devoting her time to rescue hedgehogs from all over the county, feeding them and nursing them back to health and then successfully releasing them back in to the wild. She also finds fosterers for the disabled and blind ones with enclosed gardens, so they can be looked after. If you would like to find out more, why not visit the Facebook group ‘For The Love Of Hedgehogs (Rescue and Rehabilitation)’.

Donations are needed and very much welcomed, as they help with the cost of feeding, vet bills and bedding. To get in touch with Pauline directly, please email pd57@talktalk.net.
