Friends in Harmony

Friends In Harmony are back to their singing ways. The choir have started rehearsals at a new venue, Wickersley Methodist Church on Bawtry Road, on Tuesdays from 6.00pm until 7.45pm.
Under the directorship of Graham Cowley, a local musician and teacher with over 50 years’ experience running choirs and musical theatre groups, membership increased significantly before the pandemic lockdown. Their accompanist is Catherine Sarjeant who, like Graham, is also well experienced with musical groups.
They have a vast repertoire covering all genres of music, including musical theatre and classical choral items. In a normal year they perform concerts for all kinds of organisations, charities, and community-based groups.
The choir is always on the lookout for more singers. There are no auditions, and it is not essential for members to read music. They are asking that anyone attending their rehearsals is double jabbed and will take a Lateral Flow Test before attending.
