Are you interested in sewing? Do you have time to help valuable charity work?
Could you help by making a fabric bag… which will be shipped to Zambia, and filled with reusable hygiene products to help a girl attend school and continue in education?
Dovecote Quilters are supporting Sew Powerful, a Christian charity working with communities and schools in Zambia, and also providing employment and training for local women to make reusable feminine hygiene products and soap. Supporters around the world make and donate bags as an encouragement.
Dovecote Quilters are having a display day; demonstrations of how to make a bag, free patterns, fabrics, how to help information, competition and sales table.
Tea, coffee and biscuits available. You are welcome to drop in on Friday 21st October anytime between 10.00am and 2.30pm at Letwell Village Hall, Barker Hades Road, Letwell S81 8DF.
