Doncaster Spanish Society will be meeting on Friday 21st October for an illustrated talk by Jean Clark, one of their members, on ‘Guernica’. The talk will focus on the aerial bombing of the Basque town of Guernica in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War.
The meeting is from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Doncaster Town Fields Sports Club, Bennetthorpe, DN2 6AA (opposite the Earl of Doncaster). Parking is available on site. Drinks can be purchased at the bar and the Society will provide snacks.
Entry for non-members is £4.00, and annual membership is £18.00.
