After a sunny summer, autumn is approaching rapidly and at St Barts, they are starting to plan the autumn activities. The Harvest Festival Service will be held on Sunday 6th October at 10.45am and everyone is welcome. All contributions will be donated to Maltby foodbanks. As well as dried food, toiletries are needed. Maltby Christmas Lights will be switched on on Monday 18th November at the Edward Dunn Memorial Hall. Why not pop along as tea and delicious cake will be available. There will be lots of fun for the children with a special visitor and entertainment.
On Saturday 14th December there will be a concert by the Friends in Harmony choir in St Barts. It will include a mixture of Christmas and other music and promises to be a great night. A raffle for a Christmas hamper will also be on offer.
Don’t forget the Tuesday morning sessions, when visitors drink coffee and put the world to rights, now have an armchair exercise session during the morning — it is great fun and free, from 10.00am to 12.00pm. Everyone is welcome. All are welcome to the Sunday morning service at 10.45am, the Parish Communion. Baptisms can be booked on Monday evenings, from 6.00pm to 7.00pm, except Bank Holidays.
