Doncaster Spanish Society will be meeting on Friday 27th October for an illustrated talk by member María Teresa Sikora entitled ‘La Caída de un Rey (The Downfall of a King)’.
The talk will be in Spanish and English and will examine the reign of the former king of Spain, Juan Carlos, his early years and his downfall.
The meeting is from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Doncaster Town Fields Sports Club, Bennetthorpe, DN2 6AA (opposite the Earl of Doncaster). Parking is available on site. Drinks can be purchased at the bar and the Society will provide snacks.
Entry for non-members is £4.00. Membership costs £18.00.
