During August, 7th Retford Cubs met four times and Scouts for three sessions. Beavers and Explorers had a break for the summer holidays.
Cubs enjoyed had a fun water games session, a family barbecue and a hike from Rushey Sidings back to Ordsall. On 31st August Cubs had lots of fun making scarecrows ready for the ‘Ancient’ Ordsall Parish Scarecrow Festival. Scouts spent the first session of August tidying up after Summer Camp, had a hike from Clarborough and a fun session on the river.

At the moment the group does not have a Squirrel Drey but would look into starting one with sufficient interest. This is for 4-5 year olds.
