Retford Hub gets ready for Christmas!

by | 14 November 2017 | Community Focus, Retford

The Hub continues with its mission to promote local artisans with an exciting selection of handmade gifts for the festive season suitable for all pockets.

The Mayflower Pilgrim Centre continues to welcome visitors from around the world and is open every day for those wishing to learn more about our local history. The Deli and Café are also busy every day.

The cheese counter offers a delicious range of unusual cheeses and the volunteers are happy to make up a selection board ready for your Christmas table. Why not come and taste a few?

The meal deal continues to be a great success and Retford Hub has launched a loyalty scheme — do you have your card yet?

Retford Hub will also be selling hampers either ‘ready to go’ or ‘choose your own’. These start at £10.00 and provide an interesting gift for friend or colleague.

October saw the first Craft Fayre in the Hub Gallery and the next will be on 26th November from 10.00am. Contact Louise on 07880 948941 for information.

Craft classes continue with Issy’s Crafty Bees papercraft classes on Wednesday evenings and Cath’s Learn to Draw classes on Thursday afternoons. There are still spaces for the Lino Print Without a Press workshop on 15th November — book through the Hub or pop into the Hub for more information. Look out for family art classes to create Christmas Tree Decorations, these dates are still to be confirmed.
