Retford Community Singer, the choir for everyone, is hosting a guest conductor on Tuesday 7th November, 7.00pm to 8.30pm at Chapelgate Hall, to the rear of Grove Street Methodist Church, Retford DN22 6LA.
This session will be an open evening led by singer songwriter, Ali Bullivent. Currently on leave from a music project in Zambia involving local producers and singers, Ali will bring some beautiful African rhythms and harmonies which will be a joy to sing. All welcome!
The choir has now settled into its 11th season under the regular leadership of Janet Wood. All are welcome, whatever your experience, and especially people who have never sung in a group before.
The group was proud to be part of the opening ceremony on Heritage Day in Retford in September, in celebration of the local community. They now look forward to joining a much wider community of singers from across the world – go and feel the warmth!
