Retford Arts Hub continues to go from strength to strength and will be offering more clubs and activities for the local community during November and December.
The new Kids Club is held fortnightly on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. It is for ages seven to 11 years, great fun and rather messy! The Arts Hub is very grateful that the Kids Club is being sponsored by Retford Art Society.
Have you seen Grayson Perry? Well, the new look Thursday Art Club resembles his sessions apparently – fun, relaxed and somewhat messy! This adults’ art club is weekly on Thursdays from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Meet other artists or would be artists, and be inspired to have a go.
On Fridays, there is an adults’ sewing machine club. There are machines for you to use and you can learn from others in a friendly, sociable atmosphere.
Finally, the Hub is having its annual Xmas Fayre in the gallery at the Arts Hub from 17th November to 17th December. It will be full of exciting, handmade, beautiful gifts. There will be locally made arts and crafts, cards and some surprises, so do go along, support the artisans and have a browse.
