Retford Arts Hub is gearing up for Christmas with its annual Christmas Fayre.
The Fayre runs throughout November and December, there are lots of local, handmade, beautiful crafts and paintings for sale.
Please go along and browse and help to support local artists and makers by buying your Christmas gifts and decorations locally.
The Arts Hub will also offer two sewing machine workshops in November and December:
- All Things Bright and Beautiful with Angela on Friday mornings, 10.30am to 12.30pm. Students are making autumn and winter themed items for the home or, as a gift. Angela will assist beginners and those with more skills on sewing machines.
- -Creative Stitching and Garment-Making Skills with Sue on 5th and 19th November, 10.30am to 12.30pm. This workshop is suitable for beginners or those who are more advanced. Bring your own project to work on with other people in our friendly group.
Christmas with Dickens
On Saturday 25th November, 2.00pm to 3.30pm, Judith returns to the Arts Hub with ‘Christmas with Dickens’.
Judith is a local person with a talent for presenting information and history in a wonderful and interesting way. Her last session was ‘Tea with Mr Darcy’ and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended, especially the themed food!
