The ever-popular Autumn Exhibition by Retford Art Society is to be held at St Swithun’s Church, Cannon Square, Retford. It starts on Thursday 27th October and will provide an opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts.
In addition to the variety of art on display there will be cards, crafts and (in keeping with the ethos of the Society to encourage new talent) work by pupils of North Wheatley Primary School.
Visitors to the exhibition will find a varied array of submissions by artists of all abilities and backgrounds and will be given an opportunity to be associated with such an important local cultural experience.
The exhibition runs until Saturday 12th November and is open to the public free of charge. Opening times: Thursdays, 11.30am to 4.00pm, Fridays and Saturdays, 10.00am to 4.00pm.
