The newly formed North Notts Local Group of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is delighted to announce that its new lecture series will begin with a talk from multi-award-winning micro photographer, Spike Walker. Among his awards is the Royal Photographic Society’s combined Royal College’s medal for his ‘outstanding contribution to photography and its application in the service of medicine’. If you Google Spike Walker there is lots more information online and lots of his fantastic photographs too and they’re not all related to medical matters. This is one talk not to be missed!
The North Notts Local Group was formed earlier this year, when the Retford and Worksop groups joined forces.

Meetings are held at Idle Valley Rural Learning Centre on the second Thursday of the month from September through till the AGM in April. Meetings start at 7.30pm and there is a charge of £2.50 which includes refreshments. New members are always welcome.
