MOB’s Musical Memories

by | 10 November 2017 | Performing Arts, Retford

Twenty-five years ago, Retford Operatic Society formed a youth group to promote musical theatre and recruit young people into the society; and so the Mini Operatic Bunch was born. Now ‘The MOB’, as they are affectionately known locally, have gone from strength to strength, recognised for their strong concert repertoire and award winning musical productions.

In celebration of their silver anniversary. The MOB will be in concert for ‘for one night only’ at The Majestic Theatre performing favourite exerts from their musical productions over the last 25 years. This not to be missed anniversary celebration will include MOB members past and present and will feature special guest artistes; Mobsters who having had their grounding in musical theatre in Retford, have gone on to train professionally and who are now performing and working in professional theatre worldwide.

Were you a MOB member? The group would love to hear your story, or indeed invite you to join in the show! Get in touch at retfordmob25@hotmail.com to register your interest and share your memories with The MOB.
The MOB will be performing at The Majestic Theatre on Sunday 19th November at 7.00pm. Tickets are now on sale from the Majestic Theatre box office.
