Imagine the setting: The Old Manor House, creeper on the walls, a weekend house party with a local sleuth aka Miss Marple, dark secrets and a body is discovered in the bushes. Intrigue, deception, betrayal, secret identities and lost jewels? Or maybe it is entirely different. However, it might turn out, this scenario or another will be played out in Ordsall Parish Hall on Sunday 14th May at 7.30pm when ‘The Dead Secrets’ appear. A detective story from the Golden Age.
These award-winning comedy adventurers use audience suggestions to build up untrustworthy characters and put them through an implausible plot, which twists and turns to an unbelievable conclusion. Many thrills and bodies appear along the improvised way.
This is the fourth show in the Ordsall Village Ventures’ current season supported by the Arts Council, Nottinghamshire County Council, Bassetlaw District Council and local volunteers. However it turns out, it will be fun.
Tickets are available at £12 adults, £6 child and includes a Sunday afternoon tea (albeit in the evening) in the interval while you think up your next implausible suggestion. For tickets call Peter or Shirley on 01777 706433 or Alison on 01777 700220.
