Families and friends are invited to learn new and exciting skills and have some fun at Blyth Activity Centre on Sunday 14th October. The event aims to raise funds for a local charity, with proceeds from the day donated to Bassetlaw Hospice. From archery to air rifles, there’s something for everyone. The Activity Centre is offering a family package deal for just £40.00 for two adults and two children on the day. It is a great opportunity for families to experience two of the following activities with qualified, friendly instructors who provide guidance and support. Choose from:

  • Air rifle shooting
  • Archery
  • Tag archery
  • Crossbow
  • Axe and knife throwing
(Age restrictions apply to activities, see www.blythactivitycentre.co.uk for details)

For adults only, there is the ‘Ultimate Warrior Challenge’, which is £20.00 per person. Choose to take part in any four of the above activities and a prize for the highest score will be awarded at the end of the day.

Tea, coffee, refreshments and snacks are available in the Centre’s clubhouse throughout the day. Places on this one-off special day to support Bassetlaw Hospice are limited, so please book early via www.blythactivitycentre.co.uk/activities/bassetlaw-hospice-activity-package. The Activity Centre is just off junction 34 of the A1 at Blyth.

Bassetlaw Hospice said: “We would like to thank the team at Blyth Activity Centre for organising this amazing day. It’s a chance to try out new activities and at the same time raise money to support patients and their families from the local community, at what is a difficult time in their lives.”
