Retford’s Oliver Stokes graduated to Black Belt on Saturday after five years of training at Lynx Black Belt Leadership Academy.

It was a very special moment for the 10-year-old and quite an emotional day for his parents and grandparents. However, all the hard work and commitment really did pay off for Oliver and smiles and tears of joys were witnessed by many on this big event.

Master Blinston congratulated young Oliver when presenting him with his Black Belt 1st Dan and praised him for the obstacles and challenges he had overcome. He commended the commitment and dedication to his years of training and his Black Belt attitude and said Oliver had never given in once and it’s quite an achievement to date.
