The Chesterfield Canal Trust (CCT) is adding a new feature to this year’s walking festival — a photographic exhibition. The exhibition will be held later in the year at the CCT’s headquarters at Hollingwood Hub, and possibly at other locations, including in Nottinghamshire. This is subject to there being sufficient entries.
Entries can be taken on or off the canal and include boats, buildings and structures, wildlife, good views, and scenery. In fact, anything that catches the photographer’s eye. But photographs must be the original work of the photographer.
For full details of the exhibition, and an entry form, go to the CCT’s website www.chesterfield-canal-trust.org.uk. Entrants need to include the number of the walk and when the photograph was taken. The closing date for entries is 6.00pm on Tuesday 22nd October.
Copies of the CCT’s brochure, with full details of the 53 walks in this year’s walking festival, are in The Misterton Centre. Or on the CCT’s website, www.chesterfield-canal-trust.org.uk.
