The hugely popular East Markham Apple Day is returning in October after a three-year break (caused by Covid restrictions).
Apple Day will take place on Sunday 2nd October, 10.00am to 4.00pm, in and around the Village Hall and adjacent Heritage Orchard (NG22 0SS; free street parking available).
There will be 300+ varieties of apple, free apple tasting, a new apple recipe book and ‘pick your own’ apples at bargain prices.
There will also be an Apple Advice Centre and dozens of stalls related to apples, fruit growing, general gardening and crafts, as well as refreshments and entertainment.
Plus, new this year, a ‘pick-your-own’ feature on three days in October: Saturday 1st, Sunday 2nd and Saturday 8th, all 10.00am to 4.00pm in Hempsall’s Heritage Orchard.
Profits from the events are donated to local charities.
