Daneshill Sailing Club are again taking part in the RYA Push The Boat Out event on Sunday 14th May, in which clubs and centres across the country play host to both seasoned sailors and beginners at over 350 locations across the UK. In the four years this event has been running, over 90,000 people have attended events with around 66,000 people taking to the water, some for the very first time. Whether you’re completely new to the sport, looking to get back on the water or sail regularly Daneshill Sailing Club will be one of the many venues across the country taking part in this year’s RYA Push the Boat Out event.

The club are again inviting the local community to come down to the club, have a go at sailing, see what the club has to offer and get involved, who knows if you visit you might just get hooked!

Daneshill Sailing Club invites you and your family to enjoy a (free) experience of sailing on Sunday 14th May, as the club again hosts anyone-welcome taster sessions. Starting at 11.00am, the club members and instructors are available to take you out on the water to experience dinghy sailing at first hand. We would recommend bringing a change of clothes just in case, as it is possible you may get a little wet. Please contact the secretary to book a convenient time to avoid a long queue.

The Club is situated within Daneshill Lakes Nature Reserve, with many walks and picnic areas along with ample parking so if you are not too keen on getting out on the water, there is still plenty to do.
