Aurora is a cancer charity providing support in the local area for people living with cancer or a long-term health condition. But Aurora is not just a cancer charity; they have a variety of support groups, counselling services and recreational activities on offer for the public too as well as a charity shop and tearooms.

Spotlight on… Heritage Café

The Heritage Café is back on Tuesday 3rd October. Heritage Hub volunteer Benedict Jephcote will be talking about the ‘Rise of the Dukeries’. On Tuesday 7th November Mick Weisel will be visiting to talk about his personal reflections of settling in Australia with a talk on ‘Immigration to Australia’.

A great opportunity to socialise, meet new people, keep learning and explore the past. The group meets in the Heritage Hub at 10.30am for a cuppa and a slice a cake and the talks start at 11.00am. Booking is essential.
