Charity Nights at The Blues Club

Before we tell you about the next fantastic nights planned at The Blues Club, please take a moment to read about Koren.
The Blues Club recently raised £500 to donate to Koren’s appeal. Her father, Gordon Miles, and his partner Katsina are aiming to raise £30,000 for life-changing surgery for their daughter. Koren’s condition means she has not been able to eat or drink for five years, and constantly feels sick.

She is a good candidate for a Gastric Pacemaker, but unfortunately this is not available on the NHS.

Koren’s parents have raised £16,000 so far which, while an incredible amount, is still a long way short of the required target. Anyone moved by Koren’s story and wishing to make a donation, please contact Katsina Thornhill on 07786 456454.

The next Charity Night at The Blues Club is on New Year’s Eve, when a great night is guaranteed for your entertainment.
Performing that night will be the excellent duo Bus Stop Experience, the amazing Emma Kelsey and, of course, Ady Revill’s sound and light show. Ticket prices remain as they were four years ago – still only £20.00 per person. Half the tickets for this event have sold already so please purchase yours ASAP!

Moving into next year, the following acts are booked – but their appearance will depend on advance ticket orders and purchases, so please book in advance if you are interested.

  • 11th February: Jaax Harry and Lance Gold
  • 11th March: the return of the UK’s number one tribute to The Human League – Love Distraction.
  • 6th May: by request, the return of Mr Roy G Hemmings. This will be a sell-out, so book early!
