‘The Screen’ at Retford Little Theatre continues its successful season and on Friday 11th October at 7.30pm it will show the award-winning feature film ‘Green Book’. Based on a true story, a working-class Italian American bouncer becomes the driver of an African American classical pianist on a tour of venues through the 1960s American south. As these two men become friends, they share the challenges presented with great humour and touching pathos, with outstanding performances from Mahersh Ali as Don Shirley and Viggo Mortensen.
