  • Meet Santa
    Saturday 25th November
    Santa will be popping into store to help get you in the Christmas spirit. Children will all receive a gift from Santa. Tickets are available from the accounts desk on the ground floor at Oldrids Gainsborough. Tickets are limited and sold on a first come first served basis. Entry to the event is by ticket only.
  • Supper with Santa
    Saturday 25th November, 3.30pm to 5.30pm
    Santa will be popping into store to help get you in the Christmas spirit. Join Santa for supper & entertainment. Children will all receive a gift from Santa. Tickets are available from the accounts desk on the ground floor at Oldrids Gainsborough.

  • Dick Whittington
    6th to 10th December
    Join Gainsborough Musical Theatre Society (GMTS) for pantomime fun with Dick Whittington and his Cat; the story of a young lad who heads out into the world to seek his fortune accompanied by Tommy his amazing rat-catching cat. Are the streets of London really paved with gold? Is the path to a happy ending as easy as Dick and Tommy think? A whirlwind adventure for all the family, this show has got it all — action and adventure, secrets and songs, dancing, trickery, romance, shipwrecks and more!

  • Santa’s Christmas Wish

    Christmas is a season of joy, love and sharing, a time when Santa delivers presents all over the world… but what would Santa himself like for Christmas?
    Join a fun, festive, musical adventure to give Santa the very best Christmas, then meet him at his home in the North Pole! There every child will receive a special present from Father Christmas in our popular meet, greet and treat, after the most Christmassy Christmas show ever! Songs include festive favourites Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Jingle Bells, When Santa Got Stuck Up the Chimney, The Twelve Days Of Christmas, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and many more! Santa’s Christmas Wish is a festive, song-filled, interactive family show suitable for two to seven year olds. The show lasts 40 minutes followed by a special meet, greet and treat with Father Christmas himself!

  • An Audience with Father Christmas

    Experience the magic of Christmas at Lincoln Castle by joining Father Christmas in the Victorian setting of the Bath House at the Castle. Sit back and listen to stories of Christmases past and enjoy finding out more about Father Christmas himself. Every child will receive a Victorian style gift and have the opportunity to share their Christmas wishes. Places to meet Father Christmas are limited so advanced booking is recommended.

  • What the Dickens!
    Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st December
    2.00pm – 3.00pm
    Especially for the School Christmas holiday, and set inside the Victorian Prison, Inner State Theatre perform their festive family favourite — “A Christmas Carol”. Using storytelling and puppets, our two costumed characters — Sir Henry Greatham and Lady Lydia will tell the story of Scrooge in Dickens’ famous tale with plenty of laughter along the way.
