Recycle your Christmas tree with St Barnabas

by | 2 December 2023 | Gainsborough, Local Charity

Each year St Barnabas offers to collect real Christmas trees from the community after the festive period, which means you don’t need to make a trip to the tip or spend time vacuuming needles out of your car!

They would be delighted to collect trees from the Gainsborough area. If you are a resident or business in this area, please look out for the registration page which is now live on the St Barnabas website.

There is no set price for collecting the tree, but there are suggested donation amounts. This amount is reflective of how much it costs to care for patients, so not only are you doing your bit for the environment, but you’re also helping to pay for a patient in their own home, or in a Specialist Inpatient Unit.

Registrations for Tree-cycle will stay open until Wednesday 3rd January, then the team of elves will be collecting trees between Saturday 6th January until Wednesday 10th January.

If you have already signed up, please keep an eye out on socials and emails for further details of when they will be collecting trees in your area.
