Misterton Parish Council and Parish Church have agreed the details of the annual switch-on of the Christmas lights on Friday 1st December from 6.00pm to 8.00pm, at Church Meadow.
This year there will be more Christmas trees on Church Meadow and a Christmas Tree Festival in the Parish Church. To enter a tree, take it to the Parish Church between 2.00pm and 4.00pm on Friday 1st December. Dress it in any way you wish!
The height of the tree should not be more than four feet (1.25metres). Any lights should be battery powered. Please include the name of your organisation or business on a sheet of card or paper no bigger than A4, with any other information you want to give; this will be displayed with the tree. Once again, there’s a chance to win a prize for the best-dressed tree.
There’s another chance for people to see the Christmas Tree entries on Saturday 2nd December (during the Church’s annual Christmas Coffee Morning from 10.00am to 12.00pm).
