The Kirton in Lindsey Society season of talks starts on Tuesday 24th October.
This month the audience will be taken on a trip back into RAF history in this area when Dave Gibson will be giving an illustrated talk on ‘The Airfields of North Lincolnshire’.
He will feature stories and histories of many RAF stations from RAF Grimsby in the east to RAF Sandtoft in the west.
The next meeting is to be held on Tuesday 28th November and will be ‘An Introduction to 19th Century Costume’ with Janet Tierney.
All meetings start at 7.30pm in the Diamond Jubilee Town Hall, High Street, Kirton in Lindsey DN21 4LZ. Entrance fee is normally £1.00 including refreshments for members and £3.00 for non-members (except for special meetings).
