There is plenty happening in and around Kirton-in-Lindsey over the coming months, with opportunities to get active, appreciate local talent, enjoy nights of music and celebrate some of the area’s finest gardeners and growers at the Town Hall.
Kirton Kombat
Residents looking for a fun way to improve fitness, build confidence and learn new skills can sign up to Messingham Martial Arts’ popular training programme. Kirton Kombat classes take place every Thursday and are open to children and adults of all abilities. The sessions provide a welcoming environment where participants can develop discipline, coordination, self-defence skills and physical fitness while having fun.
Classes are divided into age groups:
- Mini Ninjas (Ages four to six): 5.00pm to 5.30pm
- Junior Taekwondo (Ages seven to 12): 5.30pm to 6.30pm
- Senior Taekwondo (Ages 12 to adult): 6.30pm to 7.30pm

44th Annual Gardeners’ Show
A highlight of the local calendar returns on Saturday 5th September, when the Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners hold their 44th Annual Show. See the separate article in this magazine for more details.
15th Annual Art Exhibition
The Kirton-in-Lindsey Town Hall Annual Art Exhibition returns this autumn and promises to be another wonderful showcase of local artistic talent. Now in its 15th year, the exhibition will be held on:
- Friday 2nd October, 5.00pm to 8.00pm
- Saturday 3rd October, 10.00am to 4.30pm
Visitors will be able to enjoy an impressive display of work created by local artists, featuring paintings, pottery and glasswork. Many exhibits will be available to purchase, offering a perfect opportunity to support local artists and perhaps take home a unique piece for your own collection.
