West Stockwith will host an evening of remembrance and memories, marking the end of the First World War, on Saturday 9th November, in the Village Hall from 7.00pm. There will be entertainment, followed by a buffet supper. The Village Hall will be decorated, and wartime dress is optional. Proceeds will go to the British Legion’s poppy appeal and help with maintenance of the Village Hall. Tickets are £5.00 (adults and children) and available from Pearl Richardson.
