On Sunday 16th July it is The THL Festival at Klassic Park, Kirton. What an afternoon it will be, with six hours of fabulous music from four acts, all playing headlining sets. It is a bring-your-own chairs, food and drink. Sit down to enjoy an afternoon of fine music.
First up will be The Sam Chase Trio from San Francisco. Sam Chase is a clever songsmith and a dazzling performer. He will be joined by Devon McClive (cello) and Chandra Johnson (violin). The trio blend epic arrangements with hard living songs with a dash of rock ‘n’ roll spirit.
Next is The Blue Highways, from London are brothers Callum, Theo and Jack Lury. They are one of the most up and coming bands in the country, known for their roots inspired rock sound and narrative story telling.
Following them is The Black Feathers – Sian Chandler and Ray Hughes. The pure emotion and subtle timing of their song delivery is as evident as the enjoyment radiating from their on-stage chemistry. They are mesmerising and stunning in equal measure.
Finally, headlining is The Sara Petite Band. Sara, from San Diego is a force of nature. Her music does not fit into one musical genre. She is gritty, she is wild, she is rocky, she is tender with the soul of a child. She and her band are stunning. The perfect way to end the festival.
Tickets are priced at just £25.00 and are on sale now. Gates are at 1.00pm and the music starts at 1.30pm.
