The Snow Queen transforms Wentworth Woodhouse into a glittering world of frost and fairy tale wonder. Visitors will follow Gerda’s journey to rescue her friend Kai, moving from enchanted gardens and princely chambers to darker robber’s dens and, finally, the icy palace of the Snow Queen herself. The story will be told indoors across 13 unique spaces in the House. Each with its own enchanting soundscape and immersive set design. You’ll see polar bears in the Pillared Hall, reindeer in the Marble Saloon and icy light projections will adorn a glittering throne in the State Dining Room.
