Enjoy an unforgettable night under the stars! This stargazing event is an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the night sky and learn about the wonders of the universe. This event is suitable for all experience levels, whether you’re a seasoned stargazer or just curious about the cosmos.
On the night of the event, gather at the cricket club, with minimal light pollution to take in the stunning views of the night sky through telescopes, binoculars and the naked eye. Knowledgeable guides will point out interesting celestial objects and answer any questions you may have. They will also have a presentation or lecture on a particular aspect of astronomy, such as the current night sky, a recent discovery or a specific constellation.
While stargazing is the highlight of these events, our great British weather may let us down but rest assured that you will have a great evening whatever the weather with the help of the experienced and passionate astronomers of MSAS (Mansfield and Sutton Astronomical Society) team.
£20.00 per person. Stargazers aged under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
This event is not suitable for children aged under 8 years old.
